Cambodia Business visa

A Cambodian Business visa is the right choice when you are planning to live and work in Siem Reap for a longer time. A Business visa will give you the possibility to stay in the country for up to one year, which can even be extended by applying for a visa renewal.

When you are living or want to stay longer than two months in Siem Reap you need to apply for a business visa. This visa can be bought when entering Cambodia. You can buy it at the airport if you fly or at the border checkpoints. It will only be valid for one month and they will charge you 25 dollars. 

ENTRY VISA REQUIREMENTS

You need to fulfill the following requirements to get a visa in Cambodia.

• Your passport have to be valid for 6 months from the expiry date
• You will need one photo (4x6)
• Pay the fee for the visa

If you don't have a photograph with you, the airport will make one for you and charge you 1 dollar extra.  

VISA EXTENsION

When you decide to stay longer in Cambodia make sure that you extend your visa. A business visa can be extended at the Immigration Department, National police in Phnom Penh. When you stay in Siem Reap you don't need to travel to Phnom Penh. You can just walk in an travel agency and they will take care of it. They will charge you a fee for the extension and you will have to provide them with a recent 4x6 photograph of yourself. You will have your passport and visa extension back in 3 to 4 days.

A business visa can be extended for:

• 1 months and single entry:  cost around 45 dollar 
• 3 months and single entry: cost around 80 dollar
• 6 months and multiple entries: cost around 160 dollar
• 1 year and multiple entries: cost around 280 dollar

Remark:  When you overstay your visa, you will have to pay US$5 a day as a penalty when you leave the country.
