Movie Screening of "Little Gems" at Sofitel Angkor Resort
The association Français du Monde – ADFE, and its partners are glad to present the exclusive projection of Xavier de Lauzanne’s movie Little Gems on Sunday 26 March at 3pm at the Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Hotel and Spa Resort in Siem Reap.
Synopsis:
Today they are twenty- five years old. They’ve finished their studies or have started to work. As children, in order to survive, they were scavengers in the open garbage dump in Phnom-Penh, Cambodia. That’s where Christian and Marie-France, a French couple, met them over twenty years ago and began their inexhaustible fight to pull these children out of their living hell. To date, they have given more than 10,000 children access to education, and helped them build futures.This film is the story of an extraordinary human adventure…
At the end of the projection, a Q&A session will be attended by the director Xavier de Laiuzanne for all the participants.
Entry tickets are sold at US$3 and all money raised will be given to the association Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE – For a Child’s Smile).
