  • Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) was initially established in 1997, but was not in operation until Year 2000, the beginning of the new Millennium. It was founded by a group of Cambodian expatriates from the United States of America, whose objectives are to contribute to the development and enhancement of Cambodia’s human resource; and to play an active role in the “nation building” process for future generations. Our missions also include the following:

    Improving the quality of life and building the capacity of the people of Cambodia

    Promoting international standards for higher education in business, economic, humanities & social science, law & government, management, medicine, sciences & technologies, etc.

    Building a strong teaching profession capable of delivering quality education and grooming new scholars, scientists, engineer and technicians.

    Providing training for professional who wish to continue their technical and intellectual growth through advanced studies & specialized fields of research and development.

    Facilitating the transfer of technologies from advanced and development countries;

    Fostering development, strengthening peace, implementing peaceful means of conflict resolution at local, regional and global levels;

    Becoming a lending institution for research and advanced studies in Cambodia, and the region, recognized for its high quality of faculty and students, and for its contribution to the peace and development of the region.
