Phare Circus, Cambodia’s innovative social enterprise supporting education and performing arts training, has announced the show schedule for August. Book now for the dynamic and high-octane performances in ‘Eclipse’, a story or rejection and revenge, ‘Khmer Metal’, which highlights the challenges faced by young urban Cambodians, or ‘Influence’, which explores power struggles in a bid for survival, all delivered with their customary energy and enthusiasm, set to exhilarating live music.

Made in Cambodia Market invites you to enjoy free live shows at the performance space amid the colourful craft stalls. Check the schedule here. August performances include Cambodian folk dances and traditional music. The philosophy behind the Made in Cambodia Market is to help create Khmer jobs; from the villagers producing the handicrafts to the sellers interacting with the visitors.

August 4: Vintage Market

August 5: Sunday Brunch & Pool

Sundays are for brunch, and for pool fun. Hunkaar Table & Lounge at Anjali by Syphon, combines the two and invites you to indulge in their brunch buffet and then chill out poolside in a hidden green oasis.

August 5: The 5th Khmer Empire International Marathon

Professional and amateur runners from around the world will participate in this exceptional marathon event. Competitors from over 50 countries will race along the unique route, which includes over 40 ancient temples, rice fields, traditional villages and forest. Entering the marathon, for the 3km fun run, 10 km road race, 21km half marathon or the 42km full marathon, directly benefits charities working with disabled people and hospitals in Cambodia. Cheer on the runners as they pass. Your support along the route is always appreciated!

August 5: Poolside Barbecue

August 8: Soy Cuba at the Village Cafe

For one night the cafe will turn into “El Floridita Bar” in La Havane. For the occasion, they are bringing in Mr. Jose Miguel Lugo Gonzalez, a Master Torcédor from Cuba who will be live cigar-rolling. Their duo of musicians will distill you the best of the Latin music and in addition of that they’re serving special “Cuban Classic Menu Cockails”.

August 11: Wine Dinner at Memoire Palace Resort & Spa
