We gather Siem Reap’s upcoming events into one handy listing at the start of every month, so you can easily see what’s on in town. Subscribe to our Facebook page for the latest event announcements.

Phare Circus, Cambodia’s innovative social enterprise supporting education and performing arts training, has announced its November schedule of performances. Book now for the dynamic and high-octane performances in ‘Eclipse’, ‘Khmer Metal’ and ‘White Gold’. In addition to the year-round, nightly 8pm show, there will be an early show at 5pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from November 2019 through March 2020.

Made in Cambodia Market features free live shows at the performance space amid the colourful craft stalls. Check the schedule here. November performances include traditional dancing and local musicians, on weekend evenings from 6pm. The philosophy behind the Made in Cambodia Market is to help create Khmer jobs; from the villagers producing the handicrafts to the sellers interacting with customers.

Public Holidays

November 9 : Independence Day

Celebrations to mark the anniversary of independence from France in 1953 include parades and fireworks.

November 10 – 12 : Water Festival Ceremony Holiday

Cambodia celebrates the annual change in the courses of the Mekong River and Tonle Sap River, a naturally-occuring phenomenon. Cambodian victory by the Navy under King Jayavarman VII during the Khmer Empire is also commemorated with boat races, fireworks and community festivities.

November 1: Free Pizza on World Vegan Day

Celebrate World Vegan Day with delicious, freshly made vegan pizza slices at Green Go Garden. With vegan craft ale or wine available at just $2, and a free packet of Ibis brown rice crackers to take home, it promises to be a fun and great value way to try something new.

November 1 & 2: World Cup Rugby Final & Bronze Final at Hard Rock Café

Catch the last two games of this exciting World Cup tournament, screened live from Japan on the big screen in Hard Rock Café’s upstairs lounge. Friday’s game sees Wales and New Zealand compete for the bronze. Will it be England or South Africa taking the title home after Saturday’s final?

November 2: Navutu Workshop – Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath

A deeply relaxing, restorative session invoking the healing properties of Nidra meditation, to the soothing frequencies of Tibetan sound bowls. Take this time to set a goal or intention for yourself, giving it positive focus – a simple yet effective technique.

November 3: Bike Fest

Begin the day with a scenic countryside 20km bike ride to Phnom Krom with Edu-Cycle guides, snacks at Phnom Krom, and a leisurely cycle back to the Hard Rock Café Angkor, where live music from Garuda and Music for Everyone School and a raffle will entertain you. Funds raised will support Edu-Cycle’s educational initiatives, providing books, equipment and other school resources.

November 8: The Pumphouse Siem Reap Launch

Join Lub d Siem Reap as they launch their newest concept The Pumphouse; The latest addition to Siem Reap’s restaurant scene. Enjoy live music, snacks, beer pong and other activities from 7pm till late.

November 10 & 11: Celebrate the Water Festival at The Butterfly Pea

The Butterfly Pea’s riverside location is the ideal spot for taking in the atmosphere of the annual Water Festival and getting ready to watch the boat races, with the starting line just minutes away from the hotel. The Butterfly Pea even has its own boat competing this year, so join us and cheer the team on!

A great selection of food and drinks will be available at the poolside bar and restaurant, together with live music by Kiss Bang Bong from 4-6pm on both days. Happy hour is on from 3-7pm!

November 15 – 17: Asia Golf Championship

The first 50 golfers to register for the inaugural Asia Golf Championship, featuring three days of prime golf, will receive 20% off the package of their choice.

November 16: Jungle Cleanup

Naga Earth & Grasshopper Adventures invite you to join them on their very first monthly Jungle Clean Up! Help clean one of the carefully selected areas outside of town in the jungle that have become littered. After the cleanup, you can enjoy a tour of the Naga Earth factory and learn how they recycle glass, plastic, oil & paper.

November 16: Seafood Wine Pairing Dinner at Hunkaar Table & Lounge

Join Hunkaar Table & Lounge for a special wine and seafood pairing dinner, featuring a 4-course meal by chef Hak Serey. Indulge in locally sourced Mekong Lobster, Seafood Ravioli with Pumpkin Puree, and Roasted Seabass with Mango Salad. Top off this wonderful dining experience with a delicious chocolate dessert.

November 17: Create Your Own Special Story-telling Game

Encourage your kids’ creative side with this workshop by J&R Waffle Bar and Panha Sabay! Are your kids 6 -10 years old? Then this is their chance to make their own game to take back home. Fresh lemonade and a special treat from the J&R Waffle bar are available as well to sweeten the deal.

November 23: Dirty Soul Party #2

November 23: 6 Hands Fundraising Dinner

Three talented young Khmer Chefs, Bora Srey, Pheak Tim and Bunchhou Chhon, all recently distinguished at the Gold Gourmet Awards in Bangkok, will hold a mouth-watering 5-course dinner at Templation Angkor Resort in support of EGBOK Hospitality Training Center.

November 23 & 24: Siem Reap Bike Meet 3

Display your pride and joy and chat about all things bike with other motorbike admirers. All bikes welcome from MSX, Cubs, café racers, choppers, dirt bikes – anything with two wheels. Everyone is welcome to this family friendly, community event supported by The Dirty Cuts, a local motor bike enthusiasts club. Even without a bike, come and enjoy live music from local bands including the Batbangers, food, merchandise, contests and prizes! There will also be a Recovery Ride on the Sunday, led by members of DCSR. Funds raised will help AIP Foundation and their Helmets for Kids campaign.

November 24: Special performance by Phare at Made in Cambodia Market

All are welcome to come and enjoy free entertainment at the lively Made in Cambodia Market, featuring circus and music performances from Siem Reap’s very own Phare Circus.

Treeline Urban Resort

Treeline Gallery presents Maline Yim’s first solo exhibition in the gallery, The Shadow of Change II. This exhibition features four tissue paper sculptures and ten mixed media works, inspired by her observations and reactions following a recent visit to the province of Kampong Som, which has undergone significant transformation as a result of foreign investment and construction.
