Phare Circus, Cambodia’s innovative social enterprise supporting education and performing arts training, has announced its November schedule of performances. Book now for the dynamic and high-octane performances in ‘Eclipse’, ‘Khmer Metal’ and ‘White Gold’. In addition to the year-round, nightly 8pm show, there will be an early show at 5pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from November 2019 through March 2020.
Made in Cambodia Market features free live shows at the performance space amid the colourful craft stalls. Check the schedule here. November performances include traditional dancing and local musicians, on weekend evenings from 6pm. The philosophy behind the Made in Cambodia Market is to help create Khmer jobs; from the villagers producing the handicrafts to the sellers interacting with customers.

Celebrations to mark the anniversary of independence from France in 1953 include parades and fireworks.
November 10 – 12 : Water Festival Ceremony Holiday
Cambodia celebrates the annual change in the courses of the Mekong River and Tonle Sap River, a naturally-occuring phenomenon. Cambodian victory by the Navy under King Jayavarman VII during the Khmer Empire is also commemorated with boat races, fireworks and community festivities.

November 2: Navutu Workshop – Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath

November 3: Bike Fest
Begin the day with a scenic countryside 20km bike ride to Phnom Krom with Edu-Cycle guides, snacks at Phnom Krom, and a leisurely cycle back to the Hard Rock Café Angkor, where live music from Garuda and Music for Everyone School and a raffle will entertain you. Funds raised will support Edu-Cycle’s educational initiatives, providing books, equipment and other school resources.

November 10 & 11: Celebrate the Water Festival at The Butterfly Pea
The Butterfly Pea’s riverside location is the ideal spot for taking in the atmosphere of the annual Water Festival and getting ready to watch the boat races, with the starting line just minutes away from the hotel. The Butterfly Pea even has its own boat competing this year, so join us and cheer the team on!

November 16: Jungle Cleanup

November 23 & 24: Siem Reap Bike Meet 3
Display your pride and joy and chat about all things bike with other motorbike admirers. All bikes welcome from MSX, Cubs, café racers, choppers, dirt bikes – anything with two wheels. Everyone is welcome to this family friendly, community event supported by The Dirty Cuts, a local motor bike enthusiasts club. Treeline Gallery presents Maline Yim’s first solo exhibition in the gallery, The Shadow of Change II.
