Starbucks Cambodia is proud to announce a key milestone in its growth as the first Siem Reap Starbucks store starts brewing today. Located at the international departure terminal of Siem Reap International Airport, the store is the latest addition to the current five Starbucks locations in the capital of Phnom Penh.

“We are proud to extend our unique Starbucks Experience to a new region in the Kingdom. The entire team is thrilled to offer customers high-quality Starbucks coffee outside the capital for the first time,” said Por Lim, General Manager of Starbucks Cambodia.

“We look forward to sharing our coffee passion and fostering memorable moments of connection with customers in Siem Reap.”

The 53 square-meter store is beautifully designed to provide an unparalleled “Third Place” experience, which Starbucks is known for around the globe, to travelers seeking an inviting coffeehouse environment where they can relax and recharge. Classic Starbucks handcrafted beverage menu will be offered alongside extensive food offerings and a wide array of Starbucks merchandise.

Committed to the community

To mark the opening, as the first step in our deep commitment to the local community, we have joined forces with Planet Water Foundation, a non-government organization that supports community-based water filtration system installation as well as water-health and hygiene education program, to bring safe and clean water to disadvantaged people in Siem Reap.

Committed to investing in our partners

Over 100 full and part-time partners (employees) have joined the Starbucks Cambodia team since the first store opened at the end of 2015. Starbucks will continue to share success and grow together with local Cambodian partners (employees) through a comprehensive approach to talent development, inspiring them to exploit their fullest potential and setting them up for professional career success.

Starbucks entered the Cambodian market through its licensed partner Coffee Concepts (Cambodia) Limited, a subsidiary of Hong Kong Maxim’s Group. Including the new Siem Reap store and a two-story flagship store in Phnom Penh’s Boeung Keng Kang district, the company currently operates six stores and is set to open another store in the capital by end of September.
