Angkor Wat entrance fees

Cambodians can enter Angkor Archaeological Park for free but tourists have to pay an entrance fee. The fee depends on how many days you want to spend to discover the secrets of the Angkor temples.

The ticket can be bought at the check point on the way to Angkor Wat. You will get a personalized ticket with your picture on. No need to bring a photo. They will take a digital photo and print it on your ticket. At each major temple you will have to show your ticket to the guards before you are allowed to visit the temple.

Opening hours

• The check point opens at 5h00 in the morning
• Visiting hours start from 5h30 till sunset for most temples
• Banteay Srey closes at 17h00
• Kbal Spean closed at 15h00

Available entrance tickets

• one day: US$20
• three days: US$40, this pass has to be used within a one-week period, not mandatory on three consecutively days.
• seven days: US$60, this pass has to be used within a one-month period, not mandatory on seven consecutively days.

Exceptions

• To visit Phnom Kulen, you will need to pass through Angkor Archaeological Park, but you don't need to buy an entrance ticket for the park. Instead, a separate ticket is needed to visit the mountain and waterfall. The ticket costs US$20 but you can get it for US$15 if you let a cambodian buy it upfront in one of the hotels or tour agencies in Siem Reap.
• You also don't need to purchase an entrance ticket to visit Koh Ker and Beng Melea. For these temples, you have to pay separately: US$10 and US$5 respectively.
